Trim and wash the asparagus.
Zest 1 lemon, cut in half, and squeeze in a cup. Set aside.
Preheat the oven 375 degrees.
Arrange salmon fillets on a non-stick baking sheet.
Whisk together honey mustard, olive oil, minced garlic,1 squeezed lemon juice, rosemary,salt, and pepper in a small cup.
Brush the mixture onto the salmon fillets, both sides.
Bake for 15 minutes. (Do not overcook the salmon)
While baking the salmon, melt butter in a skillet over high heat.
Once the butter is foamy, add asparagus.
Stirring frequently, cook them for about 3 minutes.
Add lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Stir to combine. Remove from the heat.
Serve with salmon immediately.
