Stuffed Mushrooms with Cream Cheese

This delicious mushroom recipe is very easy to make and can be a great appetizer for every occasion.

1-Clean mushrooms under runing water and dry with a paper towel. Carefully break off the stems. Finely chop stems and set aside2-Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit3-Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add chopped mushroom stems and salt & pepper to the skillet. Fry for 5 minutes stirring occasionaly. Set aside to cool down.4-After it cools down,mix mushroom stem mixture,cream cheese,parmesan cheese and chopped parsley in a bowl. ( Make sure to reserve one tablespoon of parmesan to sprinkle on top before baking)5-Fill the mushroom caps with the filling. Sprinkle with parmesan on top6-Arrange the mushroom caps on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until the mushrooms are soft and the tops are golden7-Garnish with parsley and crumbled walnuts; and serve immediatelyBon Appetit!
